Part Time Unified Family Court Case Manager

About The Position

Responsible for overseeing children, adults, and families completing services through family court cases; ensuring compliance with court ordered services, programming, or court orders imposed in the Unified Family Court; and assisting the Unified Family Court Coordinator in daily administrative tasks related to the Unified Family Court.

Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in behavioral sciences, social work, criminal justice, or a related field; or two years case management or similar experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Working knowledge of and ability to make practical application of local, state, and federal regulations/statutes, standard policies and procedures, adult/juvenile criminal code, and legal terminology of criminal justice, CHINS, and family court systems; as well as implementing department policies, directives, and general orders.
Excellent organizational and communications skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures/practices; high ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to deal swiftly, rationally, and decisively with potentially violent individuals/individuals in crisis, in precarious situations, and take authoritative action applying appropriate discretion and common sense.
