Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate insurance applications to determine the best course of action—whether it’s accepting, modifying, or declining a risk.
- Carefully review property details like value, location, usage, and safety features to make sound decisions.
- Work closely with field teams to gather the information needed to support and defend underwriting choices.
- Directly contribute to protecting businesses and ensuring they have the right coverage for their needs.
- Provide valuable support to senior underwriters and help manage accounts effectively.
- Take a proactive approach to supporting senior underwriters and managing accounts.
