CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2026 Underwriting Services Intern at our Arizona Headquarters . This 12-week paid program offers hands-on corporate experience, meaningful exposure to day-to-day operations, and valuable preparation for a future career at CopperPoint. The primary purpose of this internship is to partner with the Underwriting Services team to assist the Underwriting Division around various lines of business, which includes but is not limited to: new product launches, reviewing and defining guidelines, managing the new business submission intake process, and supporting midterm policy changes and renewals. In your role, you will support the Operations & Underwriting Services team by: Partnering with the Underwriting Servies team to accurately process new business submissions. Understanding how underwriting as a whole fits within the insurance industry and how we service our customers. Prepping new business and renewal accounts, including file set-up, web searches, and entering loss information. Providing administrative support to the team as needed. Addition/Ad-hoc assistance as needed by the team. As our ideal candidate, you are: A current college undergraduate who is a resident of Arizona and/or is attending a school in Arizona. Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools and related software. Comfortable with data and analyzing sensitive information. Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to plan and organize independently. Excellent customer engagement/service skills – both verbally and in writing. Good Interpersonal skills to quickly develop trust, credibility, and respect from all levels of staff. Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry post-graduation. Additional Program Details: Program Dates: May 26, 2026- August 14, 2026 Salary: $20 per hour Travel Commitment: CopperPoint is thrilled to host all interns at our Phoenix, AZ office in June and August! This exciting, company-sponsored visit will focus on team building, training, and engagement activities, and conclude with a celebration of intern achievements.
