About The Position

The Underwriting Intern, under direct supervision, is responsible for assisting the Underwriting Team and learning basic levels of risk assessment determine underwriting acceptability.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Strong multi-tasking skills and organization

Responsibilities

• Update Opportunity Status in Salesforce
• Load and update quote & financial information in Salesforce
• Send Special Risk applications and follow-ups
• Run loss reports
• Load policies into EGBAR
• Create clients in EGBAR
• Send reservation requests to carriers
