Referenced Salary Location CAN, Nova Scotia - Full Time Remote Working Arrangement Remote Salary range is expected to be between $79,700.00 CAD - $129,700.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Requirements

• Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
• A university or college degree in a related discipline is considered an asset.
• You are continuously learning – currently enrolled or very interested in insurance-related courses such as LOMA and/or ALU courses.
• Demonstrated professional experience as underwriter, at least 5 years of experience.
• Approval limit $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 in life insurance and $250,000 in critical illness insurance
• Be on the lookout for trends and changes in medicine, knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, diseases, tests, and modes of treatment.
• General awareness of current events, industry issues and trends
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define, research and solve problems.
• Excellent mentoring skills
• Exemplary customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
