Job Description: The Unclaimed Property Associate will support a wide range of State and Local Tax Consulting (SALTC) engagements across multiple service lines, gaining exposure to diverse and complex technical matters. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capability and a commitment to developing deep technical expertise within the SALTC discipline. In this role, the individual will contribute to the continued growth of the State & Local Tax Consulting practice through high-quality client service, proactive engagement, and participation in practice development initiatives. The candidate will be encouraged to build meaningful internal and external relationships and to represent Crowe within the community and industry networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required
  • 2 - 4 years tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
  • Must be qualified to sit for the CPA or possess a CPA, JD or CAPM
  • Unclaimed property compliance experience required
  • Must possess strong research and writing skills and possess strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Must be willing to work overtime during busy season and as required
