Position Available: Full Time Unarmed Security Supervisor - 3rd Shift Schedule: Saturday through Wednesday, 11:00pm to 7:30am for FANUC America Corporation in Oakland County, MI Wage: $20.50/hour Now offering DailyPay service. Research and resolve problems related to security division operational issues. Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to work. Makes rounds to check for security coverage in designated work areas and sites. Investigates customer concerns. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Observes activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce rules/regulations; alerts visitors of infractions. Assists any persons in building or on grounds needing directions or information. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations. Decides when incident requires written report; decides which report form to use and submits to supervisor. Unlocks buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with policies. May assist law enforcement officers with crowd control and surveillance at large public events. Any other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior security or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • You must pass a background check and any required licensing or training.
  • You must pass a drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
