About The Position

The Security Supervisor in Arizona is responsible for managing daily unarmed security operations. This role focuses on maintaining safety, overseeing a team of security officers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and handling all security-related incidents. The Security Supervisor will work closely with the Senior Security Supervisor and Regional Security Manager to ensure all security protocols are upheld, and emergency situations are managed effectively.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead security teams and manage day-to-day security operations.
  • Familiarity with Arizona security regulations and compliance requirements for unarmed security personnel.
  • Skilled in the use of modern security technology, including surveillance and access systems.
  • Strong crisis management, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional demeanor, capable of managing high-pressure situations with composure.
  • Valid Arizona Guard Card or Unarmed Security Guard License.
  • Valid taser certification and baton certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience in managing security in sensitive environments, such as cannabis, retail, or similar industries.
  • Capable of standing or walking for long durations.
  • Must be able to handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor the security team, ensuring adherence to company protocols and Arizona security regulations.
  • Evaluate team performance and organize ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in developing and updating security protocols and responding to emergency situations.
  • Manage shift scheduling to ensure continuous security coverage across all shifts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated security issues and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Security Manager to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Regularly review and refine security processes to improve overall efficiency.
  • Ensure operational compliance with Arizona state security legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor security systems, including surveillance and access controls, ensuring the facility's safety.
