About The Position
As aU in Unarmed Security Screener in Palm City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will greet residents and guests, manage entry procedures, verify credentials, and keep clear logs of visits and incidents. You will maintain a visible presence at key access points, communicate professionally by phone and radio, and escalate concerns as needed while delivering helpful customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control access at entry points by confirming authorization, checking identification as directed, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining entry and exit logs.
- Monitor gates, doors, and access control systems, and communicate access issues, alarms, and/or suspicious activity to site contacts and/or dispatch.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
