Job Description As a Unarmed Security Guard - Commercial Site in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and service requests, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site teams. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, contractors, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, parking areas, and common spaces to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and observe building activity, verifying credentials when required and/or directing visitors according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documenting actions taken in accordance with post orders.
Complete routine reports and logs, communicate notable conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations as assigned.
