As a Security Guard - Commercial Site in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe and report activity, respond to concerns, assist tenants and visitors with clear communication, and document events with attention to detail. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial property areas including lobbies, parking areas, stairwells, and perimeter lines, looking for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management as directed by location procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and local responders as needed.
• Complete required shift documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate security-related observations to Allied Universal supervision and location contacts.
