About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled and independent Ultrasound / Vascular Technologist (RDMS) to join a diagnostic imaging team in Syracuse, NY. The technologist will be responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, performing high-quality diagnostic examinations, and supporting the daily operations of the sonography lab while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education (USDOE)
• Active RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional diagnostic medical sonography experience.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment health and background requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Vascular imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex ultrasound and vascular examinations using independent clinical judgment to distinguish normal anatomy from pathological findings.
• Collect and assess relevant patient medical histories; accurately document and communicate clinical findings to the interpreting radiologist.
• Support daily sonography lab operations, including patient flow coordination and workflow efficiency.
• Conduct routine equipment checks, maintenance, and participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities to ensure optimal imaging performance.
• Deliver compassionate, professional care while maintaining a safe and respectful clinical environment.
