Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) – Required
1–2 years of clinical or outpatient sonography experience preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Experience with PACS and electronic medical records
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, pelvic, extremities, vascular, and other physician-ordered studies)
Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment and PACS systems
Capture high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols
Document findings accurately in EHR systems
Provide preliminary image review for physician evaluation
Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams
