Ultrasound Tech: Full-time, Main Campus. Increased Pay Rates! Sign-on $20K Shift: Mon-Fri: 11:00p - 7:30a Job Summary Full time night position at our Main Campus. Mon-Fri: 11:00p - 7:30a. $20k sign on bonus! Increased pay rates & differential! Under general supervision and in accordance with established departmental procedures, the incumbent operates ultrasound imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and communicates sonographer impressions to interpreting physicians. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment to adjust scanning techniques for optimal image quality. The incumbent demonstrates effective communication and collaboration with patients, students, peers, and physicians to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. A solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to professional, respectful, and inclusive behavior with all staff, patients, visitors, and students are essential. The incumbent actively participates in departmental initiatives and quality improvement efforts. Participation in call, holiday, and shift rotations is required. With appropriate training, the incumbent may rotate between the main campus and community radiology locations based on departmental needs.

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma Diagnostic Imaging required
  • Certified Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required
  • Ultrasound scanning experience with multiple patient populations 2-3 years required
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to effectively evaluate and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to guide, teach, and motivate others
  • Good business acumen skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging preferred
  • Leadership experience 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities
