About The Position

Zelis is seeking a motivated UAT Support Engineer to support and maintain lower (UAT) environments for enterprise .NET-based applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring successful User Acceptance Testing by troubleshooting application issues, supporting release validation, and partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver stable testing environments. This is a hands-on technical role combining application support, UAT coordination, and structured change management.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in application support, QA, or UAT support
• Must have SQL skills for troubleshooting and validation
• Must have experience with monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic, LogicMonitor or similar)
• Understanding of UAT processes and testing methodologies
• Working knowledge of .NET applications and REST APIs preferred
• Experience with ticketing or defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Understanding of batch processing or job schedulers
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments
• Interest in cloud migrations and hybrid architectures
• Experience with automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI tools or LLM-assisted workflow improvements
• Experience in regulated or payments-related environments

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain UAT environments for .NET-based applications
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute UAT testing
• Research and troubleshoot issues involving APIs, batch processing, and data validation
• Perform SQL-based analysis to investigate and resolve testing issues
• Support release deployments and structured change management processes
• Work with clients to create and execute test scripts as needed
• Document findings, maintain rollback standards, and track UAT sign-offs
• Identify opportunities to improve UAT processes and environment stability
