About The Position

The successful candidate will serve as staff support to the U-2 Program Office supporting the U-2 Program. The candidate will report directly to the U-2 Deputy Program Manager and will build breadth in the areas of technology, program management, planning, execution, and communications. The candidate will work with assigned program managers and functional leads across three value streams that are comprised of Depot, Sustainment and Modernization portfolio to provide support for project and program success. The candidate will also support the continuous improvement of the U-2 Program business rhythms by facilitating the execution of program business meetings. Assist leadership in balancing cost, schedule, risks/opportunities, and other program execution imperatives. Proactively expand knowledge base to include tactical and strategic program management fundamentals including performance measurement and earned value management. Find innovative ways to support and drive execution on the program. Create multi-media based briefings and talking points for program-level reviews with Lockheed Martin leadership and government leadership on behalf of the U-2 Director and Deputy Director. Track action items to completion, and provide program-level data including metrics to support staffing metrics, program and project performance metrics. In addition, the candidate will take on and lead special projects that support the overall program teams and can be tailored to the individual's development plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

  • Self-starter who must be able to operate independently with minimal direction/oversight and deliver high-quality results in an efficient manner
  • Ideal candidate will have program integration experience
