About The Position

14305 – Tyler EnerGov Implementation Consultant (remote) – Homestead , FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Remote Required: Experience implementing Tyler Technologies EnerGov for permitting, planning, and business licensing. Experience configuring end-to-end EnerGov workflows and processes across planning, permitting, and licensing modules. Experience providing production and post-implementation support for the EnerGov platform. Experience performing QA/QC on EnerGov workflows, data, and system behavior (or similar government permitting systems). Preferred: Experience with other Tyler Technologies products or EnerGov integrations. Experience with local government land use, community development, permitting, licensing, and code enforcement processes. Experience with GIS-enabled permitting/regulatory systems and citizen/self-service portals. Experience working with Florida municipalities, especially South Florida (Miami-Dade/Broward/Homestead). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Oversee and execute the setup, configuration, and deployment of Tyler Technologies’ EnerGov modules for permitting, planning, and business licensing. Build and customize complete EnerGov workflows, processes, and business rules to support planning, permitting, and licensing functions. Troubleshoot issues, resolve configuration defects, support end-users, and ensure stable ongoing operation of the EnerGov environment after go-live. Conduct QA/QC checks on configured workflows, integrations, data, and system functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and expected behavior. Participate in regular project meetings, workshops, and calls with client staff, vendor teams, and implementation partners to align on requirements and progress. Assist with or oversee integrations involving other Tyler Technologies products, GIS systems, or citizen self-service portals connected to EnerGov. Utilize knowledge of local government permitting, licensing, community development, and code enforcement—especially in Florida or South Florida jurisdictions—to ensure solutions fit regulatory and operational needs.
