You will work directly with executive leadership to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that enhance performance, stabilize operations, and create lasting value. As the Turnaround & Transformation Specialist, you will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on operator—leading financial restructuring efforts, optimizing operational performance, and driving enterprise transformation initiatives. You will play a critical role in: Stabilizing and strengthening financial performance Improving operational efficiency across departments Establishing scalable systems and processes for long-term growth Guiding executive decision-making with data-driven insights

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
Proven success in turnaround, restructuring, or transformation environments
Strong background in healthcare operations, including: Revenue cycle management Medical billing and payer reimbursement
Strategic thinker with strong financial and business acumen
Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics
Ability to lead in high-pressure, rapidly evolving environments
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
High integrity and sound professional judgment
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change

Nice To Haves

CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred
Prior experience as a CFO or senior financial executive strongly preferred
Experience in rural health clinics or outpatient settings is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide turnaround and transformation initiatives
Develop and execute strategies to improve financial and operational performance
Partner with executive leadership on organizational strategy and long-term planning
Evaluate and support strategic opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring
Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and capital allocation
Drive cost optimization and working capital improvements
Establish and enhance financial reporting, controls, and KPI frameworks
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across departments
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity and accountability
Support organizational restructuring and resource alignment as needed
Lead and develop finance and accounting teams, including FP&A and revenue cycle
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align financial and operational goals
Present financial insights to executive leadership, board members, and stakeholders
Manage relationships with lenders, auditors, investors, and external partners
Lead financial and operational stabilization efforts during periods of disruption
Drive accountability and performance improvement across the organization
