About The Position

Iteris is looking for a Transportation Systems Management and Operations [TSMO] Program Support Engineer to support the North Carolina DOT TSMO Program. The ideal candidate will work on-site at North Carolina DOT Statewide Traffic Management Center in Raleigh, NC and provide TSMO Program Support as directed by NCDOT. Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Traffic Incident Management, Traffic Management, TSMO, ITS, Traffic Engineering, or Transportation Design and Planning
  • Experience providing Program Support to a transportation client
  • Experience applying transportation engineering and/or planning principles such as design criteria, project goals, and specifications and standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with project team
  • Ability to effectively plan and schedule work

Nice To Haves

  • An Engineer in Training certification (EIT) is preferred
  • Ideal candidate is preferred to be located within the Raleigh, NC metro area
