About The Position

As a Trust Officer, you’ll oversee the administration of trustee and default services related to real estate, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in title and escrow who are ready to lead complex processes with precision and integrity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in the title and escrow industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary principles and real estate title processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer default and foreclosure services in compliance with trust agreements and regulations.
  • Manage judicial and non-judicial foreclosure processes, including document preparation and review.
  • Conduct audits of trustee sale guarantees and endorsements.
  • Coordinate sales, recordings, and legal documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and beneficiaries regarding trustee services.
  • Provide expert guidance on default service issues and legal compliance.
  • Maintain accurate title documentation and ensure proper recording.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, title companies, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues.
