Truck Wash Technician
About The Position
Job Purpose: To ensure all tractors coming into the terminal for trade, lease to owner operator, abandonment or any reason the driver is unable to continue driving, will be in the cleanest possible condition both inside and out including the engine. Responsibilities: 1. Wash outside of truck. 2. Steam spray the engine. 3. Clean inside the cab and sleeper including installing new mattress. 4. Package the drivers personal belonging in circumstances that the driver is unable to perform this task. 5. Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay floors, hoses and drains. 6. Other duties as required. Relationship: Work with all levels of employees, drivers and management. Abilities/skills required: Verbal communication and listening skills Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, and physical dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Education/training requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, experience with cleaning products is desireable.
