About The Position

This person will be responsible for loading route trucks. Also, any other warehouse assignments including; picking draft, cases, and replenishment. This is a CDL A required position. This employee will be responsible for moving trucks around the property and running shuttle routes as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid CDL A driver’s license.
  • Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
  • Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor, employees, and co-workers.
  • Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping and stretching.
  • Candidate must possess aptitude to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, including ability to accurately complete required paperwork, present information to customers, and interact with others.
  • Possess the ability to interact positively with customers and the general public and provide superior service.
  • Capacities to add, subtract, multiply and divide properly.
  • Possess skill to apply an understanding to complete direction given by management or company.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, while in a moving vehicle
  • Safely handle all products (including kegs and cases)
  • Pick draft, load route trucks, shuttle trucks to HUB, move trucks around facility and occasionally picking cases.
  • Operate forklift according to CFR 1910.178 if in Reading warehouse or at HUB.
  • Unload and load trailers
  • Keep inside cab clean of debris.
  • Properly complete pre and post trip inspections of equipment. Report any safety sensitive situations immediately to supervisor, manager or mechanic.
  • Report any accidents and injuries to supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Abide by all traffic laws and the use of a seatbelt is required.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
