About The Position

PROTECH Delivery & Installation partners with WDC Kitchen & Bath Center to provide best-in-class customer service when it is time for product to be delivered and installed. We are looking for skilled and reliable Drivers to join our team! The Appliance Installer/Driver is responsible for operating company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations as well as installing major appliances. Essential Duties: Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials for customer deliveries. Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports. Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers Transport and install major appliances. Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to operate a variety of vehicles 1 -2 years of Experience in installation of appliances preferred Good communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Walk, stand, operate equipment/vehicles up to 8 hours per day; Use hands to handle, or feel objects and controls such as those on telephones and computers, boxes, and shipping materials; talk and hear in person and on the telephone; Reach with hands and arms, grasp objects, push/pull objects of 10-50 pounds, twist the upper body, rotate the wrist, and use finger dexterity writing and using the computer. Kneel, squat, bend, and lift using safety equipment Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
