About The Position
W e are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Appliance Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deliver y , installation, and setup of household and commercial appliances. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills. While this outlines the primary responsibilities of the Lead Appliance Installer , it does not preclude additional duties that may arise as business needs evolve. The Lead Appliance Installer is expected to exercise strong decision-making skills to assess and adjust responsibilities as necessar y .
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in appliance installation, H V AC, electrical work, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of appliance installation procedures, including electrical and plumbing connections.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances safel y .
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- V alid drive r ' s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- W illingness to travel to customer locations and work flexible hours if needed.
- V alid North Carolina Drive r ' s License
- Minimum 2 Y ears related experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work e f fectively in a team environment
- Ability to work after normal business hours as needed to support the team and meet customer expectations.
- Satisfactory MVR (driving record)
- D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require a drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check, and required testing, a valid Driver's License, and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy
Nice To Haves
- Certification or training in appliance installation or a related trade.
- Experience with gas appliances and proper safety procedures.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install household and commercial appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers.
- Ensure appliances are properly connected to powe r , wate r , gas, or ventilation systems.
- T est appliances to confirm they function correctly post-installation.
- T roubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues that arise during installation.
- Provide customers with instructions on appliance use, care, and safety precautions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at installation sites.
- Communicate e f fectively with customers, team members, and dispatch personnel.
- Complete and submit required documentation, such as installation reports and service records.
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
