About The Position

Partnerships to Increase Innovation Capacity (EPIIC) Administration Provide administrative and financial coordination for the Regional Innovation Partnership Fellows Project and other EPIIC related activities. Interface regularly with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Grants Accounting to track expenditures, prepare reconciliations, and support draw-downs. Manage sub-award documentation and coordinate fund distribution with EPIIC partner institutions. Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting in compliance with National Science Foundation and institutional requirements. Support EPIIC outreach, workshops, site visits, entrepreneurship training, recruitment events, and partner meetings. Maintain project files, participant databases, metrics, and documentation required for NSF deliverables and evaluation. Coordinate communications, marketing materials, web content, and reporting support related to EPIIC activities. TRIO Programs Administration Provide administrative and financial support for TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and TRIO Veterans Upward Bound (VUB). Monitor TRIO grant budgets, expenditures, and allowable costs in compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations. Process purchasing, travel authorizations, reimbursements, personnel documentation, and vendor payments. Assist with TRIO financial reporting, annual performance reports, audits, and compliance reviews. Maintain organized records and documentation required for federal reporting and program evaluation. Shared Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities Maintain strict separation of funding sources, time allocation, reporting, and compliance requirements between TRIO and EPIIC. Serve as a liaison between project leadership, institutional offices, and external partners as appropriate to each grant. Support preparation of interim, annual, and close-out reports for each initiative. Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative systems and workflows while preserving grant specific compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, social sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and basic data‑tracking tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, faculty, and external partners.
  • Experience in a position requiring confidentiality and following of institutional and federal compliance requirements
  • At least 1 year of administrative, program coordination, or student‑support experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in education, higher education administration, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with event coordination, workshop planning, or student engagement activities.
  • Experience working in TRIO, NSF‑funded programs, or other grant‑funded initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data collection, reporting, and basic budget or procurement processes.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English).
