About The Position

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a 1st Shift Trimmer for their Sumner location. As a Trimmer, the individual will perform various techniques to work with composite components as part of the manufacturing process. SEKISUI Aerospace has over 30 years of experience designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products for the aerospace industry, focusing on complete customer satisfaction and high-quality product delivery. The company aims to integrate intelligent automation into its manufacturing facilities to drive the future of flight.

Requirements

Must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements, meaning the applicant must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Ability to read and understand detailed instruction.
Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
Able to identify defective materials and parts.
Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Trim and deburr fabricated components using pneumatic power tools.
Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Promote safety in the workplace.
