Our sawmill facility is hiring a Night Shift Trimmer Apprentice — an entry-level opportunity to learn the ins and outs of lumber processing while working alongside experienced operators. This is more than a job — it’s a pathway into a long-term career in the lumber industry. THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION What You’ll Do As a Trimmer Apprentice, you’ll train directly with skilled Trimmer Operators to learn how to: Assist in operating and maintaining the trimmer machine Inspect and evaluate lumber for defects, size, and quality Remove imperfect sections to ensure top-grade finished products Monitor production flow and maintain efficiency Keep the work area clean and safe Follow all safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment You’ll gain hands-on mechanical knowledge, production experience, and valuable skills that can open doors for advancement within the mill. Requirements
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Manufacturing or sawmill experience preferred but not required
