About The Position

The treat tank operator operates production equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Produce food products meeting all federal, state and customer requirements, regulations, and specifications. Follows established company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in the ingredient, beverage or food processing industry
• Equipment operating experience
• Good reading, writing and verbal skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Forklift certified
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent or higher.

Nice To Haves

• Computer experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Displays a positive attitude in a team environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
• Ability to print labels using The Bar Tender Program
• Ability to standardize product
• Good communication skills
• Strong knowledge of sanitation, CIP and COP procedures
• Ability to work safely around equipment
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Initiative to learn and cross train on other equipment
• Computer experience a plus
• Ability to work different shifts will be required for this position
• Is familiar with HACCP & Regulatory requirements
• Follow detail instructions & recipes/formulas to produce an end product with little or no supervision
• Ability to conduct line changeovers to meet daily production requirements
• Ability to perform all essential duties of the packaging/blending operations
• Must be forklift certified
• Must have successfully completed probationary period
• Individual must have a good attendance record
