About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Treasury Sales Officer to develop and retain Treasury Services business/clients. You will partner with our Commercial Bankers in a consultative sales role, meet annual sales goals and sales activity targets, and plan sales strategies to develop new business. You will be responsible for generating core deposits and treasury revenue, generating new clients and expanding existing relationships, creating client proposals, and managing the Treasury Services sales process. This includes developing and executing regular calling programs, maintaining a sales pipeline, and analyzing customer needs to present ideas to manage their banking in a more automated, timely, cost-efficient manner. To be successful in the role, you will develop and maintain a strong knowledge of products, pricing strategies, technical tools, and sales strategies to maximize effectiveness and proactively communicate banking changes that impact clients. Success will primarily be measured in your ability to generate new business, meet sales goals, complete tasks in a timely manner, and represent the bank in the community and civic organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in business related field preferred
  • Treasury sales experience in a traditional bank required (including outside sales, new client deposit revenue goals); minimum of (2) two years of experience; three (3) to five (5) years’ experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Familiarity of financial software
  • Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure of deadlines
  • All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background and credit screening
  • Proficient use and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Fiserv core system and Suntell document imaging/scanning system experience is a plus
