About The Position

The US Wire Product Management team, part of Bank of America's International Payments team, is responsible for the end-to-end management and development of the US Wire Payments Product for the Global Payments Solutions (GPS) business. This team manages a US Wire product platform utilized by all eight lines of business at the bank and is essential for other bank products and services such as FX, cross-border RTP, Trade, Liquidity, and Global Markets. The team also oversees and executes large-scale industry initiatives, including ISO 20022 implementation and 24x7x365 cross-border payments processing. Additionally, it supports all GPS corporate and commercial client segments, including multinational corporates, non-bank financial institutions, commercial/middle market, specialty industries like gig economy players and fintechs, iconic tech companies, and business banking clients. This role is a key member of the US Wire Product Team, supporting the head of US Wire Product and other senior product managers in various initiatives, such as delivering industry-wide payments market infrastructure changes and creating product strategies for senior executives and stakeholders. The global payments business is currently undergoing significant changes and evolution due to accelerated investment in market infrastructure improvements and an expanding competitive landscape involving both bank and non-bank players like fintechs. Requirements

  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Ability to coordinate across various functions and regions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities are often shifted and time-sensitive initiatives are brought in
  • Attention to details and rigorous focus on accuracy of deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating and maintaining product risk routines (e.g. managing collection of risk metrics and KPIs)
  • Work closely with opperational, technical, and compliance partners to collaborate on a cross-functional projects
  • Assist with data/analytics for product performance
  • Assist with developing business cases to support technology and operational changes to improve product profitability and win market shares
