Position Overview: The Treasury Operations Support Professional will be a member of the Wireroom within the Treasury Operations group within the Investment and Capital Markets Division in McLean, VA. The position primarily supports the timely and accurate processing and reporting of funds and security wires and plays an important role in reducing payment risk. Our Impact: Treasury Operations is responsible for ensuring that cash activity is processed in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines for the entire company. Investments and Capital Markets is responsible for handling our mortgage-related investments portfolio, single-family securitization activities, and treasury function. Your Impact: Responsibilities include: Daily processing of cash/securities wires as well as ACH in support of the firm's business lines. Completing reconciliations with banks and clearing firms along with same-day corrections, additions, and deletions. Developing, modifying, and executing departmental controls and procedures that affect cash and security processing. Qualifications: College Degree and/or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with extensive use of Excel Banking and Financial industry knowledge, NACHA processes/rules Understanding of the Federal Reserve payment systems Demonstrated strong data and analytical skills Keys to Success in this Role: Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills Highly motivated with a desire to learn and adapt Customer service oriented Ability to work both independently and with various teams Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.
