About The Position

The Treasury Management Relationship Manager contributes to the fulfilment of CapEd’s strategic financial plan by contacting potential business members to foster and obtain new business deposit relationships and expand the credit union’s portfolio. This position educates business members on deposit services and the full range of credit union products with the goal of growing, retaining and expanding CapEd’s business relationship portfolio. This position is responsible for completing essential functions utilizing procedures and policies to guide actions for decision making within established Treasury Management parameters.

Requirements

  • Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
  • Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree), or (3) five to eight years of practical experience in relationship management banking.

Responsibilities

  • Offers business members services such as, but not limited to, credit cards, ACH, remote deposit capture, payroll, merchant services, and business online banking.
  • Qualifies new business member referrals and assists business members through the full cycle fulfillment process of setting up and servicing business deposit accounts and business services.
  • Actively reaches out to current members to retain and deepen business relationships.
  • Frequently and consistently collaborates with all member-serving departments to share knowledge and expertise for promoting business deposit products and services.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with the marketing department to facilitate promotions and activities for enhancing business relationships. Attend or participate in community affairs as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, and promotions.
  • Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job-related duties as assigned
