About The Position

Key Responsibilities Oversees and executes all Bank Funding initiatives and funding strategies for the NY Branch and BKUSA, ensuring sound execution in various funding markets including – but not limited to – CD/CP issuance, deposits, repo financing and intercompany transactions Enhances USD funding capabilities across bank entities to support U.S. business growth and appropriate management of funding costs Ensures appropriate sales relationship management with money fund investors and brokers Collaborate with business partners to ensure efficient and optimal funding for initiatives requiring MHBK balance sheet Leads the efficient operation and continuous improvement of governance meetings and related forums. Acts as a senior support and trusted advisor to Head of Bank Treasury, in matters of best practice funding execution and broader ALM topics where appropriate Strengthens external networks to stay informed of industry trends and refine the bank’s strategic positioning. Monitors and analyzes market and regulatory developments, translating insights into actionable recommendations and sharing them across relevant stakeholders. Demonstrates a commitment to Treasury excellence by continuously developing expertise in financial knowledge, technologies, regulations, and market dynamics. Contributes to the growth of team members by encouraging professional development and knowledge sharing. Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements across banking operations and the broader financial industry. Required Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience in bank funding Deep knowledge of U.S. funding markets across a breadth of products including CD/CP , deposits and repo and specifics, including various programs and execution platforms (ie broker market, triparty Repo, GCF/FICC etc) High level of proficiency in drivers of cost of funds and interconnectivity to fund transfer pricing Experience in managing counterparty relationship with regards to sourcing various funding Demonstrated expertise managing sizeable funding desks Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field is a plus. The expected base salary ranges from $230,000 - $300,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus. Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in bank funding
