Role Summary: Medical Records Technicians (MRT) are responsible for the retrieval and indexing of multiple medical records across various provider facilities and specialty groups at a pre-arraigned date and time. Visits and appointments are scheduled by Centauri’s Outreach Coordinating team. MRT’s are responsible for traveling to these locations, retrieve medical records for a list of specific patients, and maintain the integrity of the patient file. The retrieved documents are then securely uploaded into Centauri’s database according the physician/member combination. MRT’s must ensure all retrieve files meet Centauri’s quality standards and that they adhere to all HIPAA guidelines throughout the retrieval process.
