Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Greenville, South Carolina. This role supports a Level I Trauma hospital providing high-acuity respiratory care across adult critical care units, including ventilator management and advanced airway support. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for RRTs with strong adult critical care experience who are confident managing ventilated patients, performing airway interventions, and supporting high-acuity trauma populations. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Night shift 3x12s (19:00–07:30) • Level I Trauma facility • Weekend requirement: every other • Floating required within Prisma system • Auto offer facility – fast process • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage ventilated patients (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC) • Perform airway management including suctioning, extubation, and trach care • Deliver respiratory medications via multiple delivery systems • Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) • Provide pulmonary hygiene and respiratory treatments • Support rapid response and critical care teams • Document all care in Epic EMR system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital setting (800 beds) • Adult critical care and trauma population • High-volume respiratory department • Epic charting REQUIRED Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RRT experience REQUIRED
- Level I Trauma experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- EPIC experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- RRT, BLS, and ACLS REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- South Carolina RRT license REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- Must be proficient in adult critical care and ventilator management
