About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a hospital-based assignment. This role requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment while managing a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Minimum 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (requied at submission)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Nice To Haves
- AHA preferred for BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to hospital safety, quality, and compliance standards
