The dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal nutrition care is integrated into the overall treatment plan. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program.
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of your assignment
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
- Proficient in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a registered dietitian in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients
Nice To Haves
- Certification in specialized areas (e.g., CNSC, CDE) preferred but not required.
