About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on, high-energy Traveling Area Manager t o float between our three scoop shops, jumping in wherever help is needed. Whether it's stepping behind the counter during a rush, coaching a shift lead, or supporting a grand opening or local event, you'll be a key part of keeping our shops running smoothly and our team feeling supported.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in food service or retail management (multi-unit experience a plus!)
  • A flexible, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude you're not afraid to scoop ice cream, scrub counters, or lead a team meeting
  • Excellent people skills and team leadership experience
  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal hours

Responsibilities

  • Travel between 3 store locations on a rotating or as-needed basis
  • Support store managers with daily operations, staffing, and training
  • Fill in for leadership gaps (vacations, call-outs, transitions)
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and help implement improvements
  • Help onboard and train new staff, including instilling Ben & Jerry's brand values
  • Ensure each shop delivers consistent, euphoric guest experiences
  • Monitor store performance and provide feedback to GMs and upper leadership
  • Represent the brand at community events or in-store promotions as needed
