About The Position

As a Trauma Sales Representative at Stryker, you will work with high intensity and commitment to sell Stryker Trauma products that meet customer needs. You are responsible for becoming the resident trauma expert, engaging with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. This role demands a person who is energized by chaos, capable of quickly organizing materials and sorting possible solutions during operating/emergency room consultations. You will meticulously manage and maintain product inventory, ensuring readiness to assist customers whenever needed. Your knowledge of both Stryker products and competitors’ offerings will build credibility with surgeons, who will trust you to provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives. The core mission of this role is to change lives by selling Stryker products that contribute to making healthcare better.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships
  • Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
  • Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
  • Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company’s policies and procedures
  • Employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts as a function of the job may be required, depending on customer requirements, to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function of their role
