About The Position

This travel program offers a unique opportunity to work for a single company across multiple assignments, providing continuity with one recruiter. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient care plans, promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. This role involves direct patient care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the RN role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality, fostering professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing specialty-specific clinical expertise.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
