About The Position

We are hiring for an accounting position with frequent interaction with the EVP of Transportation and others in Gemini Operations. This role will be responsible for providing support and analysis needed to help Gemini Operations successfully operate the business and execute at a high level. In this role, you will perform monthly account reconciliations, month end accounting processes, produce weekly and monthly reports, generate weekly freight invoices and perform analysis as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 0-2 years Fuel or Transportation experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good written and oral communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self motivated, attention to detail, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize

Nice To Haves

• SAP experience is a plus
• Tableau experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute weekly operational reports
• Perform analysis on transportation business as requested by operational and/or accounting management
• Assist Regional Managers with monthly P&L questions
• Assist with month-end close
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain workpapers
• Process freight invoices for intercompany and 3rd party loads and assist in 3rd party rate analysis
• Ensure collection of all outstanding accounts receivable
• Balance cash accounts in SAP
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
• Other projects and duties assigned as needed.
