About The Position

The Transportation Software Implementation & Trip Booking Coordinator is a hybrid role combining hands-on trip logistics with leadership in implementing new transportation booking and dispatch systems. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to train and support staff.

Requirements

  • Experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or supply chain (required).
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior involvement in software implementation or staff training (preferred).
  • Experience with busHive, Samsara, Bytecurve, or other fleet-management platforms.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations or passenger transportation standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI/reporting tools.
  • Leadership, training, or project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor incoming and outgoing passenger transportation trips.
  • Coordinate with clients, drivers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Ensure timely trip execution and resolve delays or service concerns.
  • Track vehicles, verify documentation, and maintain compliance records.
  • Optimize routes, schedules, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of new transportation management, dispatch, and booking software.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal leadership on system configuration.
  • Provide staff training, write documentation, and offer ongoing support.
  • Test system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and improve workflows.
  • Analyze system data to enhance accuracy, reporting, and efficiency.
