About The Position

Freese and Nichols is looking for a Transportation Project Manager in the Raleigh or Winston-Salem, North Carolina offices . As a Transportation Project Manager, you will lead transportation projects for NCDOT and local agency clients, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality. You will work closely with internal teams and clients while supporting the continued growth of Freese and Nichols’ transportation presence in North Carolina. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 6+ years of transportation engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage transportation projects from concept through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence
  • Coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, and subconsultants
  • Maintain strong working relationships with NCDOT and local agencies
  • Support quality control and technical review of project deliverables
  • Assist with proposals and business development efforts as needed
