YOUR DAY-TO-DAY As our Transportation Logistics Analyst, your ultimate goal will be to optimize our current routes to increase efficiency, productivity, and business revenue. You'll strategically evaluate routes, schedules, and service capabilities and determine ways to improve our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include: Analyzing daily routes, evaluating operations, reviewing customer profiles, and executing strategies for improvement Identifying the root cause of recurring issues and implementing plans to address these problems Using weekly and monthly metrics to guide your decisions Collaborating with the IT team to deploy system enhancements Using Geotab fleet management software to track equipment Helping develop new quality and cost control policies and taking on other duties as assigned A LITTLE ABOUT US At W.B. TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICS ANALYST REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of experience in the transportation field Bachelor's degree or an equivalent amount of work experience Ability to work onsite 5 days per week Ability to work independently, coordinate with a team, and support multiple projects simultaneously Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills Organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred - experience using Geotab fleet management software MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT This role may involve operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The company supplies and mandates training and certification on each individual piece of equipment prior to permissible use. Use of any equipment by an employee on which they are not trained and certified may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
