The Transportation Grants Coordinator position supports the development and implementation of the City’s transportation grant strategy. As a core member of the Grants team, the Coordinator will be involved in every aspect of grant preparation and submission, including identifying funding opportunities, developing applications and supporting materials, tracking awarded projects, and coordinating with internal and external partners. The Coordinator will need strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate grant program goals, rules, and requirements. The ideal candidate will be an adept facilitator who understands the value of strategic thinking in matching funding priorities with the City’s capital infrastructure needs, and employs a methodological and analytical approach to identifying, tracking, and complying with funding requirements.
