By joining our District 10 – Engineering Support Branch as a Transportation Engineer I in Breathitt County; you’ll have the opportunity to work with the Materials Section to oversee the activities of employees of the engineering related program and other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license prior to appointment in this job classification.
  • Must be licensed as a professional engineer by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors OR must be licensed in another state with the ability to obtain a Professional Engineering license from the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors within the employee's initial six month probationary period.
  • Engineering decisions recommended by individuals without a Kentucky Professional Engineering License must be approved by a KRS Chapter 322 Licensed Professional Engineer until licensure is obtained.
