About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting the Transportation Supervisor in coordinating daily operations, dispatching drivers, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers, families, and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous dispatching or logistics experience required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency with computers, dispatch software, and Google Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Schedule Flexibility
  • Ability to reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus
  • Current CDL with S-endorsement preferred

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch drivers
  • Maintain real-time communication with drivers, families, and staff regarding schedules, routes, and issues
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and filed properly
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with students, families, and staff.
  • Support safety and compliance initiatives
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned
