Requirements

  • Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Time Management
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have an Excellent Driving Record
  • Active, current, unrestricted Commercial Driver's License in state of practice
  • Must be able to be insured by the company

Nice To Haves

  • CDL license preferred but not required
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR
  • 3 years minimum shuttle-type vehicle driving experience
  • Previous Customer Service Experience
  • Outgoing, Personable, and Courteous Personality

Responsibilities

  • Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to get Residents to appointments on time
  • Interact with residents and partners in a professional manner
  • Load/unload wheelchair bound patients
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on assigned vehicle and notify manager of any issue
  • Safely operate the motor vehicle he/she will be driving
  • Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow, rain, etc…
  • Maintain logs as necessary
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Scheduling/Cancelling Resident Transportation Appointments timely
  • Work well independently and maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively and transparently, both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
