Requirements

• Must have a current/active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Kansas
• Must be 25 years old to be insured to drive the Regent Park van
• Must have a current/valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must be knowledgeable on all driving laws
• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work on deadlines and with minimal supervision. This is a fast-paced position with no downtime
• Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, co-workers and community contacts at all times
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely provides transportation services for new admissions, appointments and activities outings
• Maintains the transportation schedule with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Schedules appointments and communicates transportation schedule with management, staff and residents/families
• Provides Regent Park's standard of Elegant Care customer service to residents, families, and co-workers at all times.
• Represents Regent Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare in a professional manner
• Safely loads and unloads residents from the transportation vehicle using the gait-assistance device and ensuring the highest level of safety and performing tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Self-manages times to be sure all resident needs are met and that residents arrive on time to appointments
• Other Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Life Enrichment Assistant duties as assigned
