About The Position

Responsible to coordinate and facilitate transitioning medical practice operations in accordance to corporate standards and directives. Maintain high level of open communication with hub physicians, Practice Managers, corporate management team and departments. Responsible to manage special projects as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Implements and monitors compliance with all applicable regulatory directives as well as adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Monitors practice performance, to include budget, A/R, overhead and productivity to promote practice stability and achievement of corporate benchmarks and best practice model. Provides written recommendations and develops action plans as necessary. Establishes strong physician and Practice Manager relationships. Provides coaching and development as required. Develops and conducts training modules as assigned. Facilitates ongoing analyses of MCO issues, reimbursement and/or contracts relative to medical practice operation. Coordinates support for practice through troubleshooting and problem solving. Coordinates training and implementation of Information Systems and technology related issues. Serves as a liaison for practice physicians and Practice Managers in assigned region to the various corporate departments. Coordinates and implements business initiatives as requested by the Assistant Director of Practice Operations and Director of Practice Operations. Demonstrates commitment to high satisfaction ratings from physicians and their staff members, co-workers, payers, vendors and business partners. Demonstrates leadership and promotes positive interpersonal relations with all internal and external business contacts, representing corporation in a positive manner, displaying personal commitment to achieving the goals and objectives of the corporation. Models the AP Code of Conduct and demonstrates a commitment to the AP Compliance Program, standards and policies. Completes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Security, others) within designated timeframes. Complies with Allergy Partners and respective hub/department policies and reports incidents of policy violations to a Supervisor/Manager/Director, Department of Compliance & Privacy or via the AP EthicsPoint hotline.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or extensive multi-discipline health care experience.
  • At least five years administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or practice management setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Must have ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Must be available for overnight travel.
